Almazov Foundation of medical science and education development was established in 2005.
 

Almazov Foundation Aim is to unite intellectual, financial and organizational efforts of Russian and foreign legal entities and individuals interested in development of medical science in Russia. The Fund main objective - implementation of projects in the field of cardiology, especially by young scientists.

 
The Fund's programs:

«Almazov Award». The award is given to young  scientists (under 35) for the annual contest of scientific works.

«The valuable experience». Internship program for young scientists (cardiologists and surgeons) in the leading scientific and clinical centers in Russia and abroad.

«Marines». The program is aimed at cardiologists and practitioners trainings in the North-West Federal District.

«Healthy Heart». Program educates people about prevention of cardiovascular diseases.
