Dear colleagues!

    Let me greet you in capacity of the new president of the all-Russian non-governmental organization "Antihypertensive League". In the next 2 years the League will focus on preventative work development, screening tests organization (analysis of epidemiology and prognostic value of metabolic syndrome by NIKA studies), improvement of educational activities.
    Integration with world and European organizations is also one of the major focuses of the Board.
    Nowadays the League is an official company incorporated by the International Society of Hypertension (ISH). The League started-up its web site which contains information for members of the League, section for patients, the survey results and main activities.
    In addition to "Arterial Hypertension" journal an independent League newsletter will be published soon. We invite all members of the League and interested individuals to cooperate.

The all-Russian Antihypertensive League is established with the support of:

Almazov Federal Heart, Blood and Endocrinology Centre

Priority areas of the all-Russian Antihypertensive League are:

• Assistance in wide spreading knowledge about healthy lifestyle, also about ways and means of improving health, especially cardiovascular system;
• Healthy lifestylу advocacy among the population of the Russian Federation;
• Analysis of the results of domestic and foreign epidemiological, population-based and screening researches on hypertension;
• Information dissemination on the latest developments in hypertension diagnostics, treatment and prevention;
• The use of common telemedicine information systems for the interaction between structural units of the health authorities at various levels in hypertension diagnostics, treatment and prevention;
• The introduction of high-tech and telemedicine technologies into practical health care system;
• Creating a network of offices for hypertension prevention in the Russian Federation regions;
• "School of hypertensive" widespread organizing and conducting with the use of telemedicine information technologies.

President of the All-Russian Antihypertensive League is Alexandra O. Konradi , professor, M.D., Ph.D, Deputy Director for Scientific Research of Almazov Federal Heart, Blood and Endocrinology Centre.

 

 

 

 

     On 19 May, 2011 in Moscow the 3rd competition winners award of National Prize in cardiology “Purple Heart” was held.
     Nomination “The best cardiological project of the year”:
Category “Social project 2011”
was presented to all-Russian non-governmental organization  “Antihypertensive League”
