Centre’s international collaboration is actualized in common projects with Universite Louis Pasteur and l’Universite de Toulouse(France), Karolinska Institute, Lunds Unversitet (Sweden), Yale University, Iowa State University (USA), University of Oslo (Norway), Manheim and Hamburg Universities (Germany).
In March 2008 Centre, first of the Russian scientific-medical institutions, was awarded by European Society of Hypertension of status “ESH Hypertension Excellence Centre”

 

Priority research branches:
 
1.    Examination of molecular genetic base of cardiovascular, blood, endocrine organs and rheumatology diseases origins; prediction of the new methods their progress among the healthy people development; clarification of individual cardiovascular, blood, rheumatology diseases and endocrine pathology prophylactics and treatment on the base of patients’ genetic cards; new cellular therapy technologies development and implementation of the nanotechnologies into the cardiovascular diseases treatment e.t.c.

2.    High-tech cardiological and cardiac surgical aid system construction and implementation. Development of new methods congenital and acquired heart valvular diseases surgical treatment (including the newborns and younger children); surgical revascularization in case of coronary heart disease; new high-tech methods of the diagnostics, surgical and conservative treatment of the heart rhythm disorder and cardiac conduction disorder; new transfusion therapy methods. Perfection of cardiovascular diseases surgical treatment based on using the remote handing tools, minimally invasive surgery and hybrid surgery.

3.    Rise of high-tech help on the basis of scientifically based standards and optimal preoperative examination scheme to find out additional risk factors and to improve patients prevention to different cardiac surgical invasions development. Optimization of the myocardium defense scheme during the cardiac surgeries amidst the extracorporeal circulation and working heart with assistance of ischemic and pharmacological preconditioning, ischemic myocardium postconditioning, intra- and postoperative complication by ischemic and reperfusive damage limitation.

6.    Development and implementation of new medical technologies in perinatology, dedicated to providing high-tech medical help to women, suffering from cardiovascular pathology during the pregnancy and maternity, prenatal diagnosis and congenital abnormality of cardiovascular development management with following surgical correction of cardiac defects among the newborns.

7.    Development of new methods of patients with cardiological diseases, blood system, endocrine organs and rheumatologic diseases medical rehabilitation after the conservative and surgical treatment.

8.    Organ transplantation, including heart, lungs, pancreas, bone marrow transplantation among the patients with haemotological diseases.
