Foundation of the fully equipped simulation centre has played a key role in the Centre life. At present only 4 institutions in the country have such centres: in Saint-Petersburg (Perinatal Centre in Almazov Federal Centre), Tomsk, Chelyabinsk and Ivanovo. Currently 25 simulators (maternity patients and newborns) are at the Centre disposal as well as advanced information base that let create realistic cases, master manual skills and management in obstetrics, reanimation care delivery to the newborns and choose the right approach in emergency cases.
