At Almazov Federal Heart, Blood and Endocrinology Centre an international symposium "Highlights in cardiology" was taking place on June 4, 2010, it was held with the participation of cardiologists from research institutes of Istanbul (Turkey) headed by the President of Turkish Atherosclerosis Society Prof. Vedat Sansoy and Prof. Geray Kabakci. 

   The symposium was devoted to the foreign colleagues’ acquaintance to Almazov Federal Centre resources with the purpose of further mutual collaboration.
