We are delighted to inform you about IV All-Russian conference with international participation «High technology methods of heart, blood and endocrinological diseases diagnostics and treatment» completion. The conference took place on May 20-22, 2010 and included more than 30 discussion sections in different high technology methods of heart, blood and endocrinological diseases diagnostics and treatment.

   We were glad to see among contributors our colleagues from different countries: France, Germany, USA, Sweden and Finland: G. Massard (Strasbourg, France), E. Epailly (Strasbourg, France), J.-P. Konopleva (Houston, USA), A.Ho (Mannheim, Germany), C.Bueso-Ramos (Houston, USA), M.Keating (Houston, USA), S.Kahkonen (Finland), E. Kimby (Stockholm, Sweden).

   Headed by Almazov Federal Heart, Blood and Endocrinology Centre Director Eugene Shlyakhto many leading specialists also took part in the Conference: prof. V. Tsyrlin, A. Konradi, M. Karpenko, M. Gordeev, G. Nikolaev, A. Zaritsky, D. Lebedev, B. Tatarsky, E. Kuleshova, E. Grineva, M. Sitnikova, S. Sidorkevich, A. Panov, D. Ivanov, D. Kurapeev.

   Opening ceremony was held in Commandant’s house Atrium of St.Peter-and-Paul’s fortress on May 20, 2010 and included banquet and concert to the strains of violin quartet and piano music compositions by Mozart, Schubert, Boccherini and Saint- Petersburg composers. Almazov Federal Centre Director Eugene Shlyakhto greeted all the participants, showed his gratitude to the foreign guests and sponsors.

   The Conference was visited by 800 visitors approximately, 190 persons were presenting reports in different field of heart, blood and endocrinological diseases diagnostics and treatment. During all the conference 36 pharmaceutical companies took part in the exhibition placing at 3 floors of the Centre and presenting their products.
